Lyndhurst medical centre in Barnehurst (London Borough of Bexley) is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic salaried GP to cover maternity leave 46 weeks . We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to work four sessions a week within a growing, dynamic, forward thinking, friendly and supportive team . We are offering £11.5K per session and welcome applications from both experienced and recently qualified GPs. Applicants must be willing to work across two sites (located within half a mile of each other).

To manage patient caseload for both acute and chronic problems, ensuring high standards of care for all patients Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations and home visits Make autonomous decisions, assess healthcare needs, and screen for disease risk factors To provide on-call duties as part of a GP rota Complete all relevant patient admin in a timely manner Comply with policies, ensuring lifelong learning, contribute to audits and clinical standards Communicate with team members, patients and carers in a clear and consistent way

Lyndhurst medical centre is an expanding Four partner PMS practice with a patient population of 19,200. In April 2026, Lyndhurst medical centre was amalgamated with the Bursted wood surgery , another local APMS practice based in Barnehurst. The total patient population will be 19,200 and the new practice will work across the current two sites. Both practices come in the top 10 in the 2025 patient survey for overall satisfaction within the Bexley Borough. We have a fantastic multi-disciplinary team including Salaried GPs, Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Home Visiting Paramedic, HCAs and a good established support and reception team in place. We are a member of an innovative high performing Primary Care Network (APL Bexley PCN) with Two other local practices. We are a friendly practice who highly values both our patients and staff.
