About the role
Salaried Doctor 4-6 sessions per week. An increasingly rare opportunity to work as a traditional GP. Due to a growing patient list and the partial retirement of one partner we are looking for a salaried doctor. We are a part dispensing village practice and have managed to keep up with the ever changing demands put on us while still maintaining our traditional values and providing good access to our patients.

The successful candidate will join our happy and supportive team as a Salaried GP working 4-6 sessions per week, with clinical responsibilities delivered through a combination of telephone and face-to-face consultations. Responsibilities will include: Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations. Low level of home visits Reviewing, authorising, and signing prescriptions. Participating in the practice duty clinic on a shared rota. Managing patient queries, clinical correspondence, referrals, results, and associated paperwork. Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred services and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.

We have a low turnover of staff which is a reflection of the strong and happy team. We are consistently at or very near to the top of the GP satisfaction scores in the county. Four out of the five partners trained here and moved back as partners as vacancies became available. We are open to applicants who are coming off the training schemes and , as a training practice, can offer support.
