About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join a friendly and innovative team at Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust. The department of Sexual Health and HIV provides comprehensive services across three main sites and is led by a team of eight consultants. The services sit within the Division of Women's Children and Sexual Health/HIV; and in the directorate of Gynaecology and SH/HIV.The trust provides care to over 2500 people living with HIV and the department offers a comprehensive service including in-patient care, a joint antenatal service and clinical trial opportunities. In addition we provide Sexual health and HIV services to the Greenwich Prison Cluster
This fixed-term post will support the HIV and Specialist Sexual Health service at the Trafalgar Clinic at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich. It is an HIV-focused job with the opportunity for involvement in the specialist Sexual Health Service. There is no SRH commitment. The successful candidate will form part of the HIV on-call rota 1:6 with a 2% on-call supplement. We envisage that a substantive post will be developed in due course in collaboration with acute/general medicine to strengthen our links and best need the needs of our patients.
