The Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthesia & Critical Care. The job has arisen as a replacement post and to contribute to the delivery of the Division's strategic objectives and long-term recovery strategy of our elective programme.

Person specification

Essential

Excellent organizational skills
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
At least 3 years of experience working in anaesthesia and intensive care.
Ability to provide safe care in general anaesthetic specialities, obstetric anaesthesia and intensive care under indirect or distant supervision, within the appropriate governance framework of the department, evidenced by recent clinical experience in an equivalent setting.
Full GMC registration and eligibility to practice in the UK.
2 years registrar level

Desirable

Diploma of Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, or equivalent
Evidence of contribution to governance and audit in an anaesthetic department
Experience of working in the NHS
