Experience of assessing and treating patients in acute, inpatient and community psychiatric settings.
At least 3 years post foundation doctor experience in psychiatry.
Experience working in an outpatient setting with patients with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
Knowledge and recent work within UK hospital systems (or equivalent) excluding clinical attachment work.
Knowledge and evidence of participation in CPD
A sound understanding of clinical governance

Desirable

Experience of inter-agency working
Evidence of using feedback to inform personal development
Teaching qualification or previous experience in teaching colleagues
Experience of giving public presentations at conferences
Relevant qualifications (other than basic medical degree) such as diplomas, degrees or higher degrees.
Evidence of participation in research, such as papers in peer-reviewed journals.
MRCPsych part 1 or 2 or equivalent
