About the role
Applications are invited for a Locum Specialty Doctor in a full-time post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, based at Rotherham General Hospital, from the present until the end of February 2027. The successful applicant would join a close-knit team of permanent staff of three Consultant Surgeons and two Trust Doctors (Specialty Doctor level) in the OMFS department.
The main duties of the post would consist of OMFS out-patient clinics and Minor Oral Surgery operating lists, with the possibility of occasional Day Surgery operating lists. The post-holder would also be involved in the supervision, support and education of junior staff, and in the Clinical Effectiveness and Governance activity within the department.
