About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) to recruit a motivated Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join our expanding and forward thinking service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Consultant who will: Contribute to general and acute Interventional Radiology services Support and develop specialist areas of interest within IR Participate in a small component of general diagnostic imaging and MDT activity Engage in service development, teaching, and quality improvement There are excellent opportunities to develop sub-specialist interests, including clinical innovation, research, and leadership.

Deliver a comprehensive Interventional Radiology (IR) service, including elective and emergency procedures Participate in theIR on call rota supporting acute and trauma services Contribute togeneral diagnostic imaging and MDT meetings Support thedevelopment of specialist IR services in line with departmental priorities Runoutpatient clinics and provide clinical consultation to referring teams Supervise andtrain junior doctors and radiology trainees Actively participate inclinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives Engage inteaching, research, and service development activities Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust and referring networks
