Deputy Chief Medical Officer - Safety & Clinical Effectiveness

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Chief Medical Officer team at the RUH, Bath. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our fantastic team and help us make a positive difference for our staff and patients. This is a 12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity.

Working with our Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Strategy and Workforce you will support the delivery of the Trust's strategic goals with a focus on providing strong professional and clinical leadership to improve clinical outcomes, patient safety, medical standards, patient experience, efficiency and effectiveness.

You will have had considerable experience in medical management with a demonstrable track record of clinical leadership in an acute setting/complex healthcare organisation.

This role will also work closely with the Chief Nurse, Deputy Chief Nurses and Divisional Leadership Teams supported by a number of Associate Chief Medical Officer roles to ensure we have sufficient resource for all areas of the CMO portfolio.
