Salaried GP

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed GP to join the GP partners and our team. The practice is; High QOF achievement CQC rating : GOOD SystmOne Practice We have adapted our administration team to respond to the modern NHS, with the staff helping to filter/read letters, and prescribing clerks helping to reduce medication tasks passed to doctors.

We have our own home visiting programe in house to support the GP team in providing visits to reduce the amount of GP visits required.

The post-holder will practice in accordance with accepted good medical practice and the various clinical policies of the Service, to include: In accordance with the session rota, as agreed, the post-holder will be available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with tasks, queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation or external organisations Admitting and discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards Prescribing in accordance with the accepted prescribing formulary whenever this is clinically appropriate
