Consultant Clinical Oncologist- Special interest in Urology

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Consultant Clinical Oncologist to join the Kent Oncology Centre on a full-time basis (10 PAs), with a specialist interest in the treatment and management of urological cancers.

The post will be based in East Kent, providing leadership and clinical expertise in the delivery and development of uro-oncology services. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, including specialist nurses and allied health professionals, to provide high-quality, patient-centred care for patients in East Kent.

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about advancing treatment outcomes for patients with urological malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and other genitourinary cancers. We are particularly keen to attract candidates with an interest in modern radiotherapy techniques, systemic anti-cancer therapies, and the integration of emerging treatment approaches into routine clinical practice

To provide a high standard of care to any patient for whom you have clinical responsibility. This will include any patients referred to you and cared for by you personally or by members of your team and, in addition, any patients of consultant colleagues when you are covering on-call or on annual leave.
