Competitive salary negotiable depending on experience We are seeking a skilled, compassionate and patient-focused General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive rural dispensing practice committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care to our local community. As a Salaried GP, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while promoting preventative healthcare and supporting patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician who is committed to providing excellent patient care and who wishes to contribute to the ongoing development and success of the practice. An interest in Women's Health would be welcomed, although this is desirable rather than essential.
Working within our established Total Triage model, you will undertake a mixture of telephone and face-to-face consultations, ensuring patients are seen by the most appropriate clinician in a timely and efficient manner. Our approach supports safe workload management and enables GPs to focus on delivering high-quality clinical care. Key responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive medical care for patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions. Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients using evidence-based practice and current clinical guidelines. Prescribing and reviewing medications and treatment plans. Promoting health education, disease prevention and self-management. Maintaining accurate and records using SystmOne. Working collaboratively with our wider multidisciplinary team, including our Clinical Pharmacist, Paramedic, Practice Nursing team and PCN colleagues. Supporting the delivery of QOF and enhanced services. Contributing to the ongoing development of services and the continued success of the practice.
