Manage and respond to a wide range of health needs within a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. The post-holder will: Provide comprehensive general practice consultations to patients. Undertake physical examinations, where appropriate, to assist in the diagnosis, prevention, and management of disease and injury. Assess, investigate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic health conditions. Develop and implement appropriate treatment and management plans in collaboration with patients and the wider multidisciplinary team. Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and complete clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient services and clinical outcomes. Professional ResponsibilitiesThe post-holder will uphold the principles of Good Medical Practice as set out by the General Medical Council (GMC), including: Making the care and safety of patients their first concern. Providing a good standard of clinical practice and care. Keeping professional knowledge and skills up to date through continuous professional development. Recognising and working within the limits of their competence. Working collaboratively with colleagues in the interests of patients. Maintaining trust by demonstrating honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Acting promptly where patient safety, dignity, or quality of care may be compromised.
